Ojai is located approximately 86 miles northwest of LAX and 15 miles inland from the coast. If you are driving from LAX, please keep in mind that rush-hour traffic can be very heavy driving north from Los Angeles from 3:30 P. M.–7 p. m. on weekdays. Traffic is also heavy on US-101 South in the Santa Barbara area and can be slow on Route 33 toward Ojai during rush hours.
